The PM should take into account the referendum result - which was based on sovereignty, not making contributions to the EU and not free movement. Why is that so difficult to understand?
It wouldn't be sensible to publicise our negotiating position before talks.
We have to get away with calling elections every year. If there was an election this year and Corbyn was then deposed by Labour should there be a new election because people hadn't got to choose whether they wanted the leader of the Labour Party to new leader the country?

We don't have a written constitution or any one single document that we call our constitution. We have an approximation of one woven into our laws, which we now have to rewrite due to many of them being tied up with EU law.

Is your wish for a British Constitution to have a general election every time there is a change in circumstance? Your idea is a recipe for non-Governement decision making or action.

I think you need to reconsider what it is you are saying; pay particular attention to:

    1. Who or what is the electorate voting for?
    2. Is it mandatory that a new Conservative Party leader should be subjected to a General Election or could they take immediate control, once having met with the Queen?
    3. Do you believe Parliament will vote on Article 50 before or after the Conservatives elect a new leader?

You seem to have too many carts in front of the horses.

No.....just looking at Europes reaction to the EU, and what the EU is trying to acheive....not hard really.

Bunch of pseudo-liberals on here. Big brother isn't watching you, you can stop pretending to be fighting racism and fighting the good fight.

So something doesn't exist unless it is written down? You seem to make things up as you go along.

So how can you refer to a constitution that isn't written down?

I haven't once mentioned racism on this thread. My concern is about how we have just left our biggest trading market on the back of false promises. If we want access to the single market we have to pay into it and accept the EU's rules on immigration. I think those who voted to leave have been sold down the river.

You clearly still do not understand how our constitution works, do you? Your last sentence is another Sherlock moment. <doh>
