We follow our legally correct constitution. Those who we have elected to Parliament are the ones who are duty bound to vote the enactment of Article 50; when they do so is at the whim of the Government - I would hope they take their time so that we can take our full financial returns from the EU and also so that all parties can ensure they are dealing with what is best for them and as good as they can make it for everyone else - I am sure there will be much compromise along the way.

I overheard someone saying they're voting in, because a relative had friends in Europe and it would put the cost of stamp's up.

The reality was that the relative was concerned at the impact of trading with Europe, but it doesn't stop the individual in question being in need of better information on the issues.

The bigger picture is those poking the arrogance of government ts and 'experts', and it's not just a UK issue, and was inevitable at some point soon somewhere in the world.

Surely Gove and Johnson expected to be front runners for the PM job and hava plan if they were successful. I assume that laying out a strategy will be key for all the candidates that put themselves forward.

Gove would be a ****ing disaster. His time as Education Secretary was a complete shambles. Boris is a buffoon. May will be Maggie II but she's the best option.

I dont think Gove will, I expect he will get a post under Boris if he wins.

Now I hear Boris has offered May a big job if she joins his team

I have never told you what I do and don't intend to, I'll leave that to you to claim some sort of professional expertise <doh>. Waiting and seeing is good advice, you really should shut the **** up and follow it.

People that know the markets will make a fortune during this. It's why they look smug, rather than worried. They leave that to the politicians.

Its weird though, been coming on here for years, and Tobes is usually quite laid back and derisive in a witty way (unless he is pissed).
Yet since this referendum he has been in a state of, what I can only describe as, deranged panic. The night the referendum result was announced, think it was like 4:30am they called it as a Leave victory, I honestly thought he was gonna top himself. And he doesn't appear to have calmed down much!

Perhaps May + Johnson, not against each other, but one the understudy to the other - Boris needs experience in too many areas to lead. A fast agreement would lose the need for a contest, establish control quicker and discard demands for a GE. If only ...
