Rooney was bad, but Kane was atrocious.

Rooney was worse, Hart was completely dire the whole tournament...

Agree about Hart, he has been awful this tournament. Some of the Spurs players looked like they might do something this tournament. Walker looked okay in the earlier games, but sorry fella tonight they were abject. Walker was responsible for the first goal, Dier for the second, Rose was useless and Kane might as well have gone down the pub and watched the game.

Management has to take some blame. Rose was spotted having to ask during play where, or how they wanted him to play with all the changes being made.

    Ridiculous.

The whole thing was a shambles from start to finish. Far too many knackered, unfit, or out of form players all being crammed into one of Woy's hit and hope permutations.

The Spurs players were the biggest let down. Kane totally bottled it ALL tournament.

Walker at massive fault for the first goal. Along with Ali.

Dier at fault for the 2nd, ball watching.

Ali didn't have 1 good game.

Roy is a twat. England all round embarrassment. But the Spurs players...jesus wept.

Yep agree, management was woeful. The players looked like they didn't have a clue about how they should be playing, disjointed and lacking any ideas. We had no continuity throughout the competition and we did not have any plan about how to get ourselves out of trouble.

The fact we didn't know our best system after 10 wins in qualifying and still trying figure it out against Portugal just shows how crap the whole management team is (was <laugh>)

Neville - **** me he talks a good talk but he's utter ****e at coaching/management - should go back to punditry.

Roy well **** me. He delivers ****e on a plate wherever he goes.

    <laugh> a 2 season wonder?
I ain't defending any England player but how can you blame anyone but Hart for the second goal?
It was an atrocious piece of goalkeeping.

5 minutes against a tiring Iceland - reality check.

Although credit to him, he tried. No one else did!

Woy was desperate by that stage. Kane, Sturridge, Vardy, and Rashford all on at the same time??!!

Agreed, he should never be selected for England again. Let's make that official.

Spud players were all crap, Roo should now retire, Rashort should be upfront for Englishland and Hart is a twat and should be dropped from a great height.

Only 2 players that tried, Kane must not be in an England shirt again.

I disagree. There were too many knackered, unfit, and out of form players in England's squad.

Kane was one of the knackered ones.

Kane also flopped when the under 21s were favourites for the Toulon tournament... at his age I was never too tired to play footie... and it doesn't seem to be affecting players in other teams ...

Kane, thanks to our far sighted transfer policy, had to play in virtually every game last season. PL, Europa, FA cup, etc...

I think the game against Russia was his 63rd of the season....

... biggest problem was Woy's determination to stick with Rooney at all costs ... every move gets slowed down to walking pace allowing the opposition defence to get set and organised...

To be fair I did post on the United board that somehow it would be blamed on a United player. It always is which is why I laughed when England lost to Iceland, population 330,000.
