No, you need someone who can bring passion to the team. There isnt a single English manager right now that I think is the type of manager that you need.
Weirdest five days ever: England lose to Iceland?????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Europe "get lost" decision???????????????????????????????????????????????????? Scotland to go independent now a real possibility?????????????????????????????????? Die hard Ulster Unionists literally clamouring to sign up for ROI Passports?????????????? UK fragmenting???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Am I lost in the Matrix? Have I entered some virtual nightmare?
Maybe if you jump off a building, you'll go into a coma and wake up in the 70s a la Life on Mars. Personally I like the sound of it myself. Even if England didn't qualify for 74 and 78.
The last two English managers worked real well, didn't they? Unless it is Eddie Howe, and we're building over a number of years, it has be a foreigner IMO.
This is actually a really good point. Why was nothing done to counter this? Surely it helps our opposition?
At least if they've leaked before the game, then there's less chance of them needing a leak during the game.
i think if the game was a friendly england would have had a comfortableish win for me, a huge problem with england is the players just can't handle the pressures of tournament football, they bottle it for whatever reason ' on paper' england have probably the 4th best squad at euro 2016, its not played on paper but something is fundamentally wrong with english tournament football kane for example has gone from a good all rounder and finisher to a guy who lost absolutely all his bottle and became a nervous wreck in just a few weeks rooney should not be picked/retire because he's had his time, over 100 caps, played at 6 tournaments and he can offer nothing more you need a fresh squad that wasn't involved in some of the previous collapses of the last 5-6 years i've said it before, england need some players to take the risk and play abroad.. get out of their comfort zone and gain confidence upon the pitch in new territory.. the players are too in their comfort zones the way they are now, i believe that has an impact in the way they play in tournaments
