I'm not a Hodgson basher, the qualification stages and friendlies leading up to this tournament were excellent. A large turnaround in players and he put together a young and hungry squad that showed plenty of class and coordination. He can't take credit for bringing the young players through, the staff at their respective clubs take all that, but he can take credit for bringing them in to the national side at the right times and integrating them instantly and seamlessly into the side. However, barring 45 minutes against Russia, every single game at a tournament has been absolutely turgid and we've limped out embarrassingly and pathetically. I'm glad he's ****ed off, he's a useless know nowt **** which is evidenced by his piss poor starting line ups and substitutions this summer. Hopefully someone will do the honourable thing and rip his head off and **** down his neck. Sad to see Neville go though. Hoddle for England.
