It tells you it's a ****ing good thing he's leaving as it was a bloody stupid thing to say, although I don't recall it.

I answered it, but you've ignored it.

Yes, there are many federalists in the EU. Not all by a long way, but yes there are many who would like to see a federal Europe.

However, as Juncker himself has now accepted, there is no appetite amongst the people of Europe for it.

To be clear, I would never support a move to a federal Europe. Nor would many other remain voters either. But, our current arrangement meant it was more to our advantage to remain at this time.,

He aimed it directly at bumbling Boris after he mentioned a leave vote being an opportunity to alter our position within the EU. Cameron countered with its a straight in or out choice, that'll be actioned the morning after.

Then he was using childish rhetoric unwisely, but those taking it as a valid point are just amusing.

Sorry for taking the words directly spoken by the PM on how he'd action the result as having some validity, my bad.

He ****ed Boris sideways by chucking the hand grenade at him on Friday morning, after having pulled the pin, which was much more amusing than him actually delivering on his promise though

Combination of a very unexpected result and the ensuing uncertainty.

The market reaction, and that of the rating agencies who have downgraded the EU already, tells you that they think leaving at this time is not a great idea,

There are some idiots saying what's the solution? The short answer is there is no quick fix. Until our future relationship with Europe becomes clearer, this volatility will prevail.

I also know many people think that those of us who work, or worked in the City know exactly what's going to happen, we don't - I've freely admitted it. We have a better handle on things, yes. But, If we all knew what was going to happen, we wouldn't be working, we'd be sitting at home making a fortune for our own accounts.

All I can do is give an educated estimate of where things will go next. But there are so many variables and permutations of future events, that even that is difficult.

What I can tell you is that this volatile situation will continue until future direction becomes much clearer.
