Sessegnon More excited about this player than I have been about any of our signings in the last 5 years. That includes Darren Bent, who was in his own right a superb player for us. Got giddy about Cana too but this guy is the first true flair player I think we will have had since Alan Johnson. WOW, we are punching above our weight with this signing. We wouldnt have had a sniff without his fallout with PSG. ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã6m is nothing for a Champions League caliber player. Muntari True defensive steel combined with a player who looks forward up the pitch, rather than passing back or sideways....... He has 16 goals in 57 apps for Ghana! Some strikers dont have that international record. Very happy, lads, very happy. They may not be playing against Chelsea, but they will give the lads who are a kick up the arse to prove their worth to the team. Shame, the Chelsea match will be the last match I can make it to this season.
Great post, Solsec. Take 5 <star> from me. TBH I do not follow European footy so I depend on the opinions of others for the likes of Sess. And it's all positive on the skills side so far. Questions over possible selfishness when in posession but let's judge that for ourselves. Just hope that Brucey's man management skills are up to it so as to max the lad's potential. I tell you one thing - Sunderland will be a cracking footballing team once Sess and Sulley bed in, by the looks of it. What's it going to be like this time next year?? Farkin FANTASTIC!
