you're totally right though who'd be a toon fan cried out for billionaire owners and get the ****ing biggest joke going ahh well it could be worse we could be mackems <cue the sad ****s trawling our board>

 

The players now getting sold might not have been sold if they hadn't accused the club of doing it for the last 3 months. I'm not on Team Ashley, he's heavy-handed (pun intended) and doesn't have a clue where to spend money anymore, he has no rapport with supporters, he's clearly pissing off all of the veterans on the squad, etc etc.

But if players like Jose and Barton wanted things to change, going on twitter and talking so much **** wasn't the way to do it! It was stupid, and selfish, and we'll now never know who would have come and gone this summer if they hadn't just shut their mouths and been professional. The club always has enough drama surrounding it, they didn't need to make it worse.

Maybe they thought they were helping the squad, but they put a gun to their own heads and now Ashley's pulling the trigger. In the end, everyone's in the wrong, and it's the club and all of us who support it that are paying for it.

 

I can't stop thinking "Why us?" Why does so much rubbish happen at our club? OUR ****ING CLUB!! We support them and always will. We stayed loyal when we got relegated. We travel in thousands and no matter what happens we always will, yet Ashley and co can't help but keep destroying us. I hope he's gone soon. We deserve success and with him here we will never achieve that.

Mike Ashley is one twisted ****. I bet he got us relegated just so we could experience some 'success' in the Championship, you know get a feel good factor going. Then have half a decent season, watch the team really develop, everyone pulling in the right direction. And then rip it all away. Sell our best players and see if he can drag us into a relegation dog fight again when he had a small taste of the good life.

 

Personally I'd rather he brought out a book titled 'How I intend to jump off the Tyne bridge before the season starts'.

Nobody should be suprised at the clubs actions, it's been evident since Mort left and Lamearse took over as MD!

BOB MURRAY

 

Bob Murray is a SAFC fan, and despite being hugely unambitious and unable/unwilling to supply decent transfer funds, isn't too badly thought of from our fans, especially after flogging the club to Quinny and Drumaville for a pittance in order to see us progress.

Makes it back to the SOL as a guest now and then, i think he is also honourary president or something. He had his faults, but he's nee sadist like wor mike.
