Kane and Sturridge are basically the same striker. **** everyone else just take a touch and shoot, utterly ******ed to be playing both together, play just breaks down whenever either of them get the ball 35 yards from goal
Too late for Lallana now but I'm fairly confident had he started we would have seen a far better performance from England. Not one of those players on that pitch deserves any praise.
We've created one ok chance. Kane's volley and that was more opportunistic than anything. Zero creation.
Wilshere just epitomised England there. He ran at goal and passed it wide right. Instead, I wanted him to drop a shoulder and shoot. He was going into the area.
Still at least Bertrand and Forster aren't on the pitch so there is no chance of injury there. Bring on pre-season, I'm done with international football.
The Iceland wide right midfielder doesn't even cover his full back. He knows that Walker will just check and pass it back.
And foreign players (playing for foreign-owned clubs). It sometimes seems that the only English part of some PL clubs is the fans. And if you go to Chelsea, Arsenal or Man Utd, most of the supporters are tourists. My main gripe with all of that is the pundits who expect England to be good, because the PL is the most popular (aka best) in the world. I blame the Sky money, but that's a different debate.
