They'll be another goal in this Spain v Italy game. Fancy it to be Spain, but wouldn't be surprised if Italy catch them on a quick attack to kill the game off.

You'd think it, wouldn't you. He's not even the oldest goalkeeper in this tournament.

Well technically he's not in the tournament now, he went home last night, back to rummaging through bins and asking for change.

Apparently he started wearing them when he played on poor or frozen surfaces earlier in his career and he chooses light grey ones because he thinks its a lucky colour. I remember him wearing them when was at Palace.
On a similar theme, apparently Lionel Perez always wore a cricket box because when he was young player another goalkeeper for his club took a very nasty kick to the bollocks.

    Bouffon best ever?

Has anyone else been right at the top for 20 years?

Pelle is a ****ing good player ain't he, replace Lukaku I'd imagine.

Italy always seem to produce good quality keepers that stay near the top for a long time. Zoff, Zenga, Pagliuca, Peruzzi, Toldo.

Always seemed to save everything with his knackers anyway so he probably needed some protection in that area
