De Gea has kept Spain in this. Another massive save. Should be about 3-0 Italy at this point at least. Noticed Spain have started doing their 'cheating ****s' routine.
The Italian (Eder?) made a tit of himself trying to get him sent off too. The camera showed him crying on the floor, pausing to look at the ref, and then going back to crying. I don't understand why players pretending to be in agony isn't more of an issue for the powers in football. It's plagued this tournament but we're all just to used to it now it's just accepted. While the authorities worry about more important issues like whether or not you can go forwards from the kickoff.
Ref's had a shocker this second half. Spain are so ****ing lucky, how it is still 1-0 is a miracle. They'll probably win at this rate.
I am even more surprised that it isn't an issue for their own self respect. Don't let the bastard know he hurt you if you can help it.
It really is time to stop labelling them as catennacio. Magnificent display by a limited team from which none of the offensive players would get in Spain's team.
Chiellini there in the corner trying to get Silva sent off at 2-0 with 8 seconds to play. Dave should have stamped on the horrible ****'s face and given him something to roll on the floor about.
Individually they probably are, but they are drilled superbly. Stewart Robson regularly said Conte's Juve side were the best coached side in Europe and he might've been right.
