    I know. And I don't blame them.
I ummed and ahhed about it too. I have a job and am a homeowner (though with no mortgage :p) but ultimately I realised that the EU is dodgy as **** and want European domination and our MEP's make up 3% of the EU, we are powerless to change anything, so long as the bureaucrats run the Union. Its working for them, so why would they want things to change?

I mean, how can people be so stupid as to think Immigration was the main issue here!
    FFS.
Every time Boris or ANYONE from the leave campaign was asked whether they could promise lower immigration if we left the EU, they stammered like mumbling pricks and went all sheepish.
How could people possibly not see what was right in front of them?
The leave campaign pandered to that ****** base of voters because they knew it was their best shot at winning.
Its the same **** Trump is doing in the US now.
Enough with the immigration **** everyone.
It wont change....at all....not one iota......
You have an EU passport, you are getting in to the UK.
That will be the case as long as the EU exists, whether we are in or out..........

    Enough said!

The EU won't do anything until a Tory steps forward to invoke article 50.

When and if that happens then the negotiations will start. Some of the simplistic and quite frankly delusional bullshit being spouted about this process across the net is absolutely staggering in it's naivety. Unless we accept a deal similar to that of Norway - which includes free movement of people and they pay about 85% of what we already do per capita to the EU, whilst having zero input into the decision making process - then the negotiation process is likely to take years, some analysts say as long as a decade to conclude in it's entirety.

Economics never really entered my mind, Putin and the social state of Russia was first amongst my thoughts, a united Europe was a barrier of sorts, now the wedge is there I doubt it'll be too long before the iron curtain is back, though this time it'll be right wing and not left. People are ignoring it like they ignored Germany in the 30's.

It you who seems to believe you know what I don't. You have no idea of my background, but I do know, from the strength of your posts that you are not as informed as you believe. Let's see what happens shall we?

I am very well informed about the markets, of that I assure you. I also have a good grounding in economics And I still have friends working in those markets too.

I've tried to explain how markets work, and how they react. Believe me, or don't. Your choice....

Many were, it's a simple fact. (not you and many like you who made considered decisions mind)

Have you not seen some of the absolute bone heads that have been interviewed since Thursday?

Sad that our society still patently has such a large xenophobic and racist underbelly.

None of us know what will happen.
Everyone is trying to wag their fingers at each other and fight their argument best they can.

All I know is that I voted on what I did know.
And that is, the EUs goal didnt mesh with mine.
And whats the point in spending the entire tenure of our EU membership fighting them at every turn, because our interests are not aligned.

    You don't half talk some **** <laugh>!

The UK actually had more influence than almost any other single country in the EU (before our idiotic decision) and actually agreed with over 2,000 of the legislations passed - only 56 went through that we didn't support...

    So much for no influence...

Except for Germany, I would agree yes.
Doesn't matter if everyone else votes against you though does it.

Then I hear talks of them banning veto rights, and banning referendums. All talk mind, but still, its a dodgy path to walk down.

There is no accountability with this organisation. They can just arbitrarily change the rules at any given moment.

Yes, and Custard is a raving genius compared to some of the pond life I've seen interviewed on the box!...
