We have to be the easiest country to sneak into. Pay someone in France, Holland, Luxembourg (ok, maybe not them as they are land-locked) etc and they can pop you in their boat and sail over The Channel and drop you off anywhere there is a jetty. Same with drugs as with people. Pointless having sniffer dogs at Heathrow, may as well put a lifejacket on them and let them swim around the coast trying to smell heroin. Nothing controversial here just stating the bleeding obvious based on historical and geographical fact. Same with flying. I went on one of those Red Letter day things where you get to fly a plane for half an hour and the Cesna I was in had plenty of room in the back for a bag or two of ching and a suitcase full of Uzis. All that "protecting our borders" rhetoric is a load of old tosh.

I did say sneak into, not just walk into. The Channel is water, not a sodding great brick wall. Just ask the Vikings and Normans. Take the good old US of A for instance. The Mexicans are allowed in through border crossings if they are legit but to get into the States illegally they need to dig under or climb over the fence and there are helicopters and border cops galore trying to stop them, hundreds die in these attempts every year. Hop on a boat and sail north for a few hours and you can rock up at San Diego and get in no problem. By water is easier and unless you have the coastguard on constant patrol as between Florida and Cuba it's a doddle compared to digging tunnels and dodging bullets. Farage and his ilk banging on about protecting our borders is a pile of horsesh*t. A few hours by boat from the Hook of Holland, Boulogne etc and you can touch down on Blighty. If you don't want to run the risk of being caught getting off the boat just hop into a dingy and paddle up to the nearest beach under cover of darkness. It worked well for the Mick bringing guns into Ireland. How else do you think they got there? UPS? Amazon? Does Farage think immigrants are just going to stop trying to get here? He thinks that preventing immigrants signing on or getting NHS treatment will somehow put them off.
Wednesday the nominations for the Tory Party are in. Dunno if it's this Wednesday or next, heard it on the wireless. Wait ya see the nick of this line up!!
