Need to read again the mission statement the club put out. We know who we are and everything is earned. The club is well run, is clearing its debts and building a good squad. We finished 6th (and just behind the CL places) in the best league on the planet. Where is the lack of ambition?

Most random namedrop of Southampton I've heard for some time. Wasn't so effective last year as he was the year before but a similar player to Pelle...

 

I've already had a few Liverpool supporting mates text me today and most have been along the lines of...

Not to sure what to make of this, i accept that £35 million is alot of money but then i also think well its not really that much money in the football world. I saw some one post that if we had kept clyne yes he would have gone on a free but chances are a quality rb would of got us the extra points required to make champions league. Basically we would have gambled 11 milion on finishing top 4 although if we hadn't of sold him we might not of needed Cedric or Cuco so wouldn't really of been gambling anything.

Much as I'd have liked to keep Mane...earning 100 million from a club for 5 players is blooming brilliant. Especially as they don't seem to learn from experience.

Like I've previously posted I have a fair few Liverpool mates that go home and away often , and their sick to death of them buying players not just from saints but from others aswell for stupid fees.

I think they only rate Clyne and their not overally impressed with him apparently.

So the person I talk to was right.

Since 2013 Liverpool have paid Saints £93m, in that time they have gone from 2nd to 8th - well run? I don't think so but desperate to weaken Saints and failing!
