Me too. We think he having a good time. His distraught mum gets one word text messages. Mum: We are all missing you but You must be having a great time FLT jr: Yup And he sends her an emoji image with things like the German flag when they landed in Frankfurt en route, or an emoji of Mount Fuji the day they were going on that.
He is a lucky lad, to do something like that with his school............all I ever got was camping in Cornwall Hopefully he is on Facebook so yourself and Mrs FLT can see pictures of what he is up to.

He is not and we are not! Yes, he is very lucky. Also lucky he has wonderful parents who (after a family meeting) decided we would find a way of funding it. He is studying Japanese which is why we thought he should go. Part Christmas present, part birthday present and helped by the fact that we are having a "free" holiday this year as father-in-law has booked a place in France and said we can all go if we pay our ferry crossing!
Top Gear quietly played last night on the other side of the football. And it's really getting better. I notice that Matt Le Blanc is starting to take the lead in presenting. And that's some of the reason why it's getting better. There's not a great deal of chemistry between the guys, so it's probably better to let the bloke that people actually like a lot, do the main stuff. Evans still gets the Star in a Mid-Priced Car thing, but he's getting pushed back into the mix.
