Controversial, yes I'm sorry in advance for this post but it needs to be brought up if our protests get ignored from all sides, BBC, sky, the government, etc... No matter how much we fume.

I'm all towards going for it until the end but we can get a better deal if it means sky sports get good ratings, we have the majority to make it happen. Murdoch has been after f1 for ages and I'm sure he wants to make it work.

Personally I'll only pay £150-250 a year to watch f1 (including HD) and no more... Anymore and they can shuve it royally.

This poll is to show Sky the kind of deal we want. No "free" option will be available because let's be honest, we won't get that.

Ignore the scandals happening in the background. Just give an honest opinion on how much you would be willing to pay Sky to just watch F1. You don't have to vote it's just a topic to get out in the open so the idiots see it.

P.S. No sky sport owners, this is a poll for people who don't have it.

Most of us don't care about football let alone the other sports, we're pure motorsport fans and I don't want to be ripped off.

    Take note sky....

Sky sports costs a set amount per month. That isn't negotiable. From that perspective, this is exactly the same question as "will you pay for Sky Sports to watch F1?", which has already been merged into the main F1 on Sky Sports thread once.

Why should we have to pay anything, the beeb did a deal until 2013, the concorde agreement is valid until the end of 2012 which states it must be free to air in major markets so I'm sure there is a contractual break in there somewhere. Murdoch is not getting a penny from me (despicable phone hacking aside).

Don't think you can combine 2 polls in 1 post, so I guess I have to do this which is annoying I'm sure.

Exactly. How much we'd pay is utterly irrelevant when we shouldn't be paying anything and Sky costs are non-negotiable anyway.

You could have offered a 0-50 option. I think that, given the strength of feeling about this, it would be the most popular. Or better still, an "I'll never pay Sky a penny" option.

Unlucky for you, my pub is pretty big and has 4 TV Screens. 1 normally shows the F1, 2 some sort of Footy and the other one just normal TV for those who came for Steak and Chips with a bit of EastEnders on there pallet.

    :)

Damned if I will pay more to Sky than I am now. I will not pay for SS on principal. I shall certainly look at other avenues.

So is Sky planning to show F1 as part of the Sky Sports subscription or on a pay per view basis?

I'd of thought that PPV would get them less money as only the non BBC races would ever get subscribed to. In which case:

+£20 or +£240 per year for existing customer

£39.75 or £477 per year for a new customer without HD

£50 or £600 per year for a new customer with HD

As a new customer it is worth bearing in mind that if you use a site like Quidco you can end up with anywhere from £100 to £200 cash back plus Sky's MS vouchers. We moved from my partners to my name earlier this year and scored £180 cash back and £100 worth of MS vouchers, and you can bet your boots we'll be moving it back to her name next year!

As an existing customer I'll swallow the £20 increase as I also like rugby and my soon to be stepson loves football. Having 3 sports we'll watch on Sky will make the nessecary evil a little more palatable.

The poll doesn't give a 'zero' option, that's what I would pay.

Here's an alternative and apparently legal: go to http://www.rtl.de/formel1/livestream/index, join (a little tricky if you don't speak German, but use Google translate to help), mute the German stream, open another tab in your browser and stream BBC 5 Live radio coverage. Voilà!
