The civil servants do the negotiating from a political brief.
And our best interests are not served by Gove, Boris or the swivel eyed loon farridge or Corbyn in any case.

Agree with you on that. But rightly or wrongly at least they nailed their colours to a mast. What does she represent? So which camp follows her? Useless coward in my opinion.

Problem is politicos that were prominent on either side are toxic to the other side, and given the closeness of the result there won't be a loyal workable majority. A weak Tory government would normally be a good thing compared to a strong one, but not now!

She would represent the least worst option.

Cameron should have been honest (for a change) he should have pointed out a few benefits for leaving and a few for remain. He should have been seen as more neutral, he should have said he is voting for remain but it is up to the public to decide.

Instead he came over as too demanding and when the likes of Obama got involved and Osborne with (now proved lies) and threats of an emergency budget that turned it for some.

I was an out voter on day one.. Just prior to Obama getting involved I was slightly in favour of out but could have been persuaded to vote remain. The silly tactics by the remain campaign did it for me and my cross voted exit.
