Perhaps it is connected to the fact that you don't usually get 2 opposing factions turn up at music events, so because there isn't the confrontation, flares and the like aren't used violently. Or they just smuggled them in as it is easier to get contraband into an event like this rather than a footie match.
But instead it's in the hands of people who have potentially been drinking,smoking and putting god knows what up their nose.
Possibly so, there is a risk of accidents but I still maintain the difference is that it isn't at a competition, so there isn't factional violence involved
Its quite surprising just how careful someone can be with dangerous stuff even when they have had a smoke or some pills - I'm not condoning the use of psychedelic substances when handling fireworks, but its great fun
Pills are the one thing I never have or ever will touch along with many other things, I have had an in depth conversation with a penguin in a clown costume before though, ahh the good old days!!
