You don't seem to understand that there are many people who are fearful of the consequences of the result. Just because the vote has taken place isn't going to reduce their fears. If the Leave side just gloat, rather than attempt to get everyone onside to make the exit work, none of the Leave promises will come to fruition.

I don't have a problem with legitimate concerns, perfectly normal. It is trying to find ways to undermine the result of a transparent democratic election where everybody knew the rules beforehand.

Some of the disciples of the Brussels eurocrats have learnt from their masters to ignore hard fought for democracy when it suits. The arrogance of knowing what is best is astounding.

Did the thread regarding the data from a poll that reported the age split of voters polled get deleted? I had a question regarding the actual turn out of those age groups, does anyone know what the turn out was by age group? - I have seen it reported that for the 18-25 age group it was as low as 30%, surely that cannot be true?

The BBC have run several biased stories 'on the young unhappy with the decision'. They all had ample opportunity to learn the arguments, many did not bother to engage or vote, non story.

This was the basis of an article I put up here a couple of days ago which was ridiculed by someone.

The commentators are now starting to say openly that this was perhaps a 'cunning plan' which has backfired. BoJo never wanted to win but wanted it as a medium for his own ambitions.

The EU has said time and time again we will not get Free Trade without free movement of citizens.

I have just seen a couple of you tube interviews too where Mr Johnson is revealed as a liar and more live on interview which he doesn't refute.... around the time of the documentary on him a while back

This man is totally untrustworthy and I think his machinations may backfire on him if Theresa May stands. She has acted with integrity throughout this process.

The only one I've seen/can find (on EurActiv.com) says that 18-25 was 34% but doesn't mention any other age groups - there's nothing in wikipedia either, which is strange.

Boris Johnson was only a small part of team leave. It is nonsense to suggest the whole campaign was devised to elect Boris. More desperate stuff.

There will not be free movement of citizens, the UK will decide who is eligible to enter the UK.

German car makers are already lobbying hard to protect trade with their best export market. It is time to let things settle down, panicking by remain supporters will not help whatsoever.

Your setting is obviously not working. I just thought I would remind you of your previous naive comment denying the obvious opposition to Comrade Corbyn.

What a sorry mess this is. Leave supporters writing to the party asking for a delay to the election of a new Tory leader so putting back the start of negotiations with the EU, while the EU is asking for the UK to start the process now. Details of Corbyn trying to ruin the remain campaign while saying he supported it. Backtracking all the time by politicians who confronted with reality are trying to justify what they said earlier. A population split in two, who don't know what is the truth, and rely on pathetic newspapers to tell them what to think. Is this really what has happened to a country that was known for it's tolerance, ingenuity, diplomatic skills, etc? It is a sad day.

Corbyn is not the only one trying to deny democracy.!!

The British government is doing the correct thing in deciding when to invoke article 50. I'm sure the cabinet meeting today will be amicable with everyone keen to move on in a businesslike manner. It does not help talking the country down. For all the upcoming uncertainties I would much rather live in the UK than most other European countries that will have many difficult times ahead.

Some interesting comments on European Banks on the money show on 5-Live this morning. I did not hear all of that section on the programme and so did not catch all the detail, but it seems that there is debt crisis looming across the EU with many banks over exposed with debt and under capitalised - seems that in some countries the stress testing of banks is not as vigorous as that carried out by the BOE. Add to this the expected need to extend the credit line to Greece, then the ECB is going to come under a lot of pressure to support all of this debt. With the current stress on UK banks, I doubt they will be very keen on picking up any loan notes and will not be adding to the small exposure that they have in Greece. It's a shame it could listen to it all and pick up the countries at risk, but I am sure it will come out soon enough

Even Corbyn's spotty faced mini trots are deserting him. London Young Labour issues non confidence message. Surely after tonights MP's no confidence vote he will revert back to obscurity?

I have read one interesting commentary on the web (so has to be treated with the usual amount of scepticism) that Comrade Corbyn's end game is to create a hard left New New New Labour Party by driving out the Blairite "righter wing" MP's. He does not want to be the leader of the party or even be PM, but to act as the catalyst to drive the PLP to the hard left. No doubt breaking it apart whilst doing it. Will be fascinating if a vote of NC goes against him!
