Rumour has it Pelle is close to leave for lazio and apparently we are trying to get Thomas Partey in on loan from A.Madrid.

 

No need for rumours today, facts are bad enough. Feels like the summer of 14 again, but with crapper weather........

 

If its just mane and vic we lose this summer then i can understand that.no more tho eh

 

On the bright side, with Pelle/Wanyama/Mane going we'll have all the outfield positions well covered in a Guys We've Sold XI. Have to fudge it a little with Boruc in goal, though.

 

I will be very disappointed if we let Mane go on the cheap (£30m) after all the big talk by Les Read

Yep he is good as gone, just hope we some replacements lined up......I think it's just the 4 out.

Fans tend to lose a bit of backbone when our best players are sold every year ...

 

Lets just wait and see. The Board have called it right every season for the last 7 years and have earned a bit of trust. We've had mini meltdowns the last two pre-seasons and then look what happened! So therefore MELTDOWN!!!!!!

 

This isn't looking too good now. We already need several players and selling Pelle just creates another position to fill. Unless we have a very good upgrade in I am not happy with this.

 

I'm confident that as long as this is now the end of the sales (Pelle maybe to go), that we will reinvest well and look to push on again.

If Pelle goes we will have around 44-45 million of incoming transfer monies left after buying Redmond.

Rumours that the club have took the Mane money to invest in weaker areas by spending a bit more on transfers. I've heard we're interested in Witsel as a VW replacement, if this kind of transfer happens, this would be an upgrade on VW.

Keep the faith. We sold Shaw replaced with Bertrand, Lovren with Alderweirald and then VVD, Lambert with Long/ Pelle, Lallana with Tadic/ Mane. We bought in Forster with the extra money etc etc.

Ok jury's still out on Clyne with Cedric (though he looked good for Portugal the other night), Spider with Classie/ Romeu, but overall pretty good.

Mane could push on at Liverpool, but then again he may go backwards this season. He was awful for us between October and March, and people were on here saying we'd be lucky to get 15-20 million for him? Thanks to his end of season form, we are in a position to get 30million plus now. He could quite easily go through the same dip this season, then goes to Africa in January for 4-6 weeks, and that COULD be his season? Who knows, but as far as I'm concerned I won't care, as he'll be a Liverpool player.

Yes next season will be tougher than ever to be top 6, but I think most of us were saying this at the start of last season?

So basically what I'm saying is, we'll be fine, think we could sign a couple of WOW players, and we will still be challenging for top 6 come March / April next year. #nomeltdownhere
