Suggestion Liverpool may offer Ibe as a make weight. I believe we have been interested in him before, so could be a goer. However, only if we really want him. The 40 mill figure is mentioned again.

 

Disappointed in Mane if he leaves for not only a non Champions league club, but one that's not even in the Europa League.

 

Well you cant count today as this week, and surely being the last day means the week following as this week coming. The week afrwe is the next.

Regardless of this season, Liverpool under Klopp will be exciting to play for. Mane most likely would want to move, and that's just the way the footballing world goes. £35 million or so and it's really a no brainer to be honest. It's a sad truth, but no player harbour's aspirations to sign for Southampton and play their whole career for them (Maybe academy lads!). When we really have to worry is when bigger clubs don't want our players..Think we will find ourselves at the wrong end of the table if so.

 

This signing is going to make them title contenders. Shame really.

I really don't think Mane offers them the missing link to about 30 points for them...

 

I really rate Mane, but is he a 40 mill player? No, and I don't think he is a 30 mill player either, but we shouldn't take less than 30/35 mill, because it is always a risk trying to replace players. Better to stick with one you know.

 

Theyll have no distraction of Europe, They have fantastic talent there Hope to be proved wrong though.

I'm going by the working week....holidays were always Sunday to Saturday. I know Catholic countries tend to do it Monday-Sunday, but was always Sunday-Monday when I was young.
