He'll be cheering for foreign players who represent United next season. You know, foreign players who have stolen British footballers' jobs.

    First mover advantage. <ahem>

"Also the evidence from the US is that it will take longer as they want to deal with the EU first."

The fact is the USA are trying to get the TTIP done ASAP.
And there are some in the UK who do not want it whatsoever even WHILE being an EU member.

They had certainty to market within the EU, one of several markets they are operating in from the UK.
Now there is a degree of uncertainty about one of those several markets.

Baseless first claim. Moving first doesn't give an advantage, especially given our weakened position outside of the EU.

TTIP deals will be even worse for us given that the UK market is smaller than the EU market. When it comes to negotiating with the US, we have just weakened our position by leaving the single market.

Based on decades of working in the commercial world, sure, if you say so.

<quote>Britain could end up with 'the most extreme and toxic version of TTIP', activist says</quote>

    could. <Sparta>

These are global banks. By a long, long way, the primary markets that they trade with from London are in Europe.

As I know from experience, the different centres are very protective of their own territory. London wouldn't dare step out of Eurooe too far or they'd have one of the other branches complaining to head office about encroachment.

So, to reiterate, if their ability to trade with the EU is taken away, they will move for sure.

    Up.

Much of it to do with international safe haven stocks like BAT and Shell.

Look at stocks like Barclays, Lloyds, Barratt and Easyjet which rely on domestic and/or European business. Absolute car crash.
