I used to know a lass who worked as a waitress while she had time off from her main job as an air stewardess. Not sure exactly how the tax on a second job worked but says she did an 8hr shift at £6 p/hr she was only taking home about £25. After petrol money etc she was probably taking home about 15 quid. Hardly worth it at all.
Thats not gonna get the lads rich. i actually nicked this idea of smb gc forum. About 1500 replies on money making schemes. So far we have 2.ideas
Well technically it'd make them richer than they were originally... My point was that a second job probably isn't the best idea!!
He anyone looked at any of these online trading sites? I'm quite fascinated by them, think I could do well in them but there's massive risk as well. Might be a good time to buy low in British companies and sit tight, I've made a few quid off Sage shares in past, and a couple of small businesses that do marine equipment. Nothing life changing mind.
That's what I'm saying, if you can afford to sit on them might be a dream time. Not sure I'm going to be that brave at the minute mind, none of us know what kind of **** cannon we may or may not be facing!
Why are you acting like there's a multi-trillion black hole that's just opened up? Telling RAW not to make it political and 5 minutes later you're waffling off about collapsing economies.
I think you are getting politics and social change mixed up..If people have ideas I am sure they will still pass them on..
By the very nature of making money politics will be involved. Finance and politics are intertwined, and forever will be.
Cos Nads mentioned online trading. See as though only him and Bri have had anything to offer so far. Why not? Its not political to sit on shares as the country collapses. It make sense once it recovers
Well you said 1500 responses on another forum, surely that's enough for your 'mucker' to be getting on with for now without moaning that we haven't all made a worthy contribution to this thread? Nothing has 'collapsed' just to confirm.
Here's a good example. I bought this Hazardous Substance Storage Cabinet for 6 quid last month, it was a local lot, unwilling to ship and i has a fixing for one of the shelves missing(couple of quid to replace). Clearly the people of Darlington don't know their onions. You'll struggle to find that size and style for less than 200 quid. by the time I spray it and I've turned it into a piece of industrial furniture it will be worth around £300-£350 such is the demand for pieces like this. Going to hang on to it though because I like it. But I can easily make massive profit on it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Used-Haza...JqUPkJfsLH%2F9aZXkHqI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
