    Can't see it myself. The bottom line is it comes down to the club. If they had offered him a contract none of this would have happened. They didn't want to offer him this and wanted him out as part of their cost cutting plans (a la Nolan/Carroll). This plus the others has created a bad atmosphere and environment. Why not just come out and say we are trying to reduce costs to lower our debt levels. This will involve selling players on high wages. Wouldn't be nice to hear but its a hell of a lot better than the disrespectful, unprofessional and destructive process we are going through. They just don't get running a football club. Maybe they're well aware of this and don't really give a **** as they are preparing for sale. But its seems a high risk strategy if you look at our current squad and morale.
