    http://sanfrancisco.ibtimes.com/art...e-more-stupid-than-others-aptiquant-study.htm

I came across this on another forum and I have to say it confirms the suspicions I have held previously.

IE is a not a terrible browser but it is also not the best and it is only used because it is pre installed on every Windows PC. I don't agree that intelligent people use Opera though as I have never liked it preferring Firefox and Chromium (the open source browser from which Chrome draws it's source code.

I wonder what they would find if they did a study into the IQs of users of different operating systems. I suspect the lower IQ folks would be Windows users and the higher IQ people would use a Linux based OS.

Use different browers for different things.

Use opera mini when browsing on my mobile web as it compresses the data through its own servers and so has less of an impact on my allowance.
Use skyfire when connected to wifi on my phone.

On laptop i use chrome for speed browsing like bbc site, facebook etc and use firefox when i know i will need plugins.

I also have the ubuntu Linux operating system on my old laptop which has basically resucitated the thing

So you can gauge a person's IQ based on the browser they use now can you? What about issues such as cost, availability if you're one of those who uses work equipment, if you tend to use an internet cafe rather than your own one etc etc. It would be completely and utterly meaning less to even try it

Ouch <chippy is a cretin smiley> Regardless, the point still stands that it is ridiculous to think you can gauge someone's IQ against their choice of browser any more than you can define someone's IQ based on the football team they follow or the colour of trrousers they wish to wear.

I imagine, rather than a comparative study on IQ, it would be probably be quite a good indication of masturbation commitment.

All the clever people use MACs
reason being is, due the higher cost of said computer, you must earn more and so have a higher IQ*

    * this excludes footballers, as most are as thick as ****

    I use a Firefox

Only an idiot would buy a Mac when you can get a similar spec PC for a fraction of the price

Google Chrome is ok if they didn't hide the menus under very small icons, i find it a lot faster than Firefox but Firefox has all the best add-ons.

In my opinion Chromium is better than Chrome but I am not sure if it is available on Windows. I'm a Linux user and I use Chromium for speed surfing and Firefox for anything requiring add ons.
