All the lamb where I shop is either British or New Zealand. Don't we trade with these countries already? Lot of hideous Ugg boots about. And Anchor butter. And South African wine. And Canadian Maple Syrup. And Indian steel.

Fair enough guys. It's just the way it's coming across.

There would have been the same divisions had the result been 52% - 48% to remain.

I just think we all need to take a deep breath, absorb this truly historic, momentous moment in time and then try to move on.

There aren't any. Swing the stick and hit anything that moves, ball, man the lot.

I've drunk a Guinness before, does that count (it did for Andy Townsend)?

I would have voted for Remain on principles too, if I'd been given a vote.

Of course we see this stuff here but they have to do it via an EU trade deal. We can get new deals. Just imagine sb all the extra cans of Fosters!

Ok, I know it's never going to happen but what if the official petition reached over 17m people (1,835m currently and rising at a very fast rate)?
Just hypothetically, what do folks think would happen?
Given the number, there has to be a debate in the house on the petition but I suspect nothing can change.

On a separate note, if any one wants to make a quick buck, a car sticker in French that states, "Don't blame me, I voted 'in'!" might be popular with people holidaying on the Continent this summer!

I was joking durbar. I am English and proud, besides there will be deals on the table from Europe which will make any of our travel just as easy as now. People need to remember there are plenty of Europeans living and working here and it won't change.

Re passports, you can have a dual passport.

The BBC have seen fit to let us know that the petition stands at 1.5m a MASSIVE 0.03% of the eligible vote!!! Phucking laughable!!!

We might as well just scrap democracy and voting polls if we were to go the route of the remain petition.

But if that is right that should mean there should be plenty of deals available for Brits to work in Europe. Do you really think that the EU will allow the same access to their country as before, and if not the British would impose similar sanctions on them.

And what about the Scots who want another referendum themselves!

What happens if a second referendum is won by Remain? A 1-1 draw and extra time? Why should a second vote override the first?

That's up to the Scots what they want to do, they chose not to have their independence when they were given a chance, if it had been down to me I would gladly of voted for them to have it.
