I have Sky but I'm not a Sky Sports subscriber, up until today I had Sky Sports News and now it has gone???? Has anyone else got Sky without Sky Sports but receive SSN? Pretty peed off as I like to have it on in the ackground whilst I'm working.
That happened to me about 6 months ago - they punted it off freeview. Bit of a liberty to do it to Sky customers though!
I thought they got rid of it about 6 months ago. I seem to remember people complaining about it on BBC 606 and Faceache.
Bunch of half wits they are, I refuse to give them more of my money. I will only subscribe to Sky Sports as soon as I can get Virgin media.

Yeah thought this happened ages ago as all the channels got reshuffled. Every few months I'm on the phone to sky getting a new deal. Currently have Sports free for 3 months as I told them I was leaving a few weeks back.
I tried this too. I phoned up and said, I'm cancelling Sky Sports and the movies and they said "Ok" It's saved me about £75 since I cancelled it so no complaints.
Exactly, I feel dirty as it is being a minimum level subscriber. Without SSN I might as well go back to freeview, I think the only reason we still have it is because the missus like recording programs. Might have to get one of them freeview+ boxes.
I was surprised too. I had Multiroom, HD, full Film and Sports packages and they **** said "ok" We were paying over £100 a month on Sky, and I'm going to resist the urge to get the Sports back.
Get BT Vision which you can hook up to Freeview. You can record programmes and also watch some films for a couple of quid and some classic comedies they've put up.
some cash int it? robbin ****s. the wee call centre ****s always hang up on me when I start swearing at them I told the manager i wanted hand written letters of apology from both the workers. never did get them
I'll not cancel because if I did I'd only end up spending best part of £100 a week watching the footy in the pub!!! <skintpisshead>
