I've ordered my season tickets and I'm looking forward to having a different challenge. Seeing some younguns get their chance and hopefully developing into players that can rip up the premier league next year, if all goes to plan.

I think it could be the most passionate Newcastle fans have been since our glory days.

I do believe we'll get full houses on a regular basis after the first handful of games where people have had time to settle in.

    Anyone else?

It's really not going to be the cake-walk that many are expecting.

Bad results both home and away will sober the minds of the majority.

I still think the 100pt total was worth a 10-20 quid pop like. I'm not a massive gambler, but I took 20 quid from my winnings on leicester and stuck it on us to get 100pts.

I think its going to be a long difficult season. I'm really looking forward to it though. As I keep saying, football is football, the PL is not the be all and end all. I look forward to every new season...and then we manage to turn it into my worst nightmare <laugh>

Gave up my season ticket 2 years ago as the club's ambition was zero and they were trying to run it on a shoestring. Have signed up again as the last 12 months has convinced me there is a change in policy, despite the relegation. I have a lot of confidence in Rafa and I think we'll have a good season.

Well I think we'll smash it, no I'm not saying we'll win every game 10-0, but there's a definite gulf in class better the Prem and the Championship, and we're going down with basically a Premiership squad, and Rafa is certainly capable of getting the lads to focus on the challenge in hand and adjusting to the Championship.

Definately not going to be easy. Every game is going to be a cup final for the opposition. We should go back up but it really does depend on who we keep and who we don't. Remember we got relegated because the players where not premiership quality. So that means they might be championship quality. Who knows.

I'm possibly oversimplifying this but they are premier league quality. Rafa's Newcastle would of stayed in the league. It was what happened before Rafa that got us relegated albeit with he same core of players.
The players themselves are premier league quality though

Honestly many of them were not. At best they were very low level PL quality. Some were but not many.

This fills me with hope - even CC is unusually positive about the new season.
