Didn't include Giaccerini in the players going out the door....maybe we could do a deal with Chelski and bring in Remy?

I think Brooks would look great in red and white stripes. Folks on here were talking about Klinsmann taking the England job. What do you think about this?

Quite a few on Chelseas books that would be worth considering.

Still think Giacc will end up back in eyetie land.

    Garth Brooks?

Halftime entertainment. Put him in the centre circle let him sing. First to stot a scolding hot pie of his bonce with a shirt.

I like the look of Brooks......big powerful lad.....could he handle the pace of the Premier League....one way to find out I suppose. Don't think Klinsmann would go down well with the FA somehow. Seems to be too much of his own man....worth a thought though.....

Comm he plays in the German league....Hertha Berlin I think......got to be mid 6ft something....young lad early twenties.....not someone you want to **** with that's for sure. Just whether we can adapt to the pace of the game here. Maybe worth a punt if we can get a good deal....

Klinsmann always manages to get us out of the group stage, but we've been looking pretty bad every where else. Every time a US serviceman gets lucky in Germany, we end up with another national team member. Our aging core worries me. I'd rather the replacements come from our enormous youth system rather than the rest of the world.

Altidore should have played padded rugby or cricket with hot dogs.

Yes I retired while I was still at the bottom...lol........I was at Newcastle in the Joe Harvey area....played against Malcolm MacDonald if a friendly when the youth team was playing the reserves. He had just come back from London so wanted him to have a run out. My team got beat 9 - 1 lol....he scored eight....but hey I got the one for us....my 5 seconds of fame. Played for Crystal Palace youth team against Chelsea. Kenny Sansom was in the same team that day. We both eventually ended up on the same path in life....my career suffered with too many cocktails too....lol.
Played locally for Whitley Bay, Crook, Ferryhill, Murton, Ryhope etc....yeah I know more clubs that Gary Player. It was fun though....lot's of great memories. Could pop the occasional goal in....I worked out that I was dynamite from two yards away from goal. These days I would have to put my specs on to see where the goal was....lol

This is when the time drags like hell !, but we have the Euro's till July 10th (a fortnight tomorrow), then all the exiting transfer activity and there are some good players at the Euro's for Sam to bring in.
