I'm disappointed but I'm not fizzing.

Being in or out of Europe makes no difference to me personally other than it will cost more to go on holiday. No one can take my job from me as I'm self employed and unless Nigel can convince Boris to seize all the land for the Tory party I will always have something to trade!

I just think it's a shame for the country which is why when the kids are grown I'm off to live in the sunshine as I don't see the point in living in a country that is struggling.

Strictly speaking, for historical reasons, at the minute, this country is run by white, English people in positions of supremacy, Corbyn would fit that definition if he was in charge.

A few days back, it was run by white non-English people in positions of supremacy, and they put measures in place that discriminated against our long term, non-white friends from the commonwealth and the rest of the world..

A vote to remain in Europe was a vote for the continuation of the racist Freedom of Movement, immigration policy.

Can you see where your baggage is confusing your position yet?

Not that I'm talking about Chavs in this debate, but a Chav is not simply a poor person. I think ignorance in terms of lifestyle and a narrow-mindedness or lack of aspiration beyond the basics they understand reflects the Chav mentality.

BTW as far as the poor are concerned in this referendum, this wasn't simply a vote of the rich establishment versus the poor working classes, as seems to be being painted now. Plenty of poor and working class people voted remain also, many of who are worried about their future. I'd go further and say there's some arrogance by the Out campaigners that "we'll have it tough for a while but we'll manage" but try telling that to those people when/if they really do struggle.

They have no idea what they voted for. I will have no sympathy for them when their homes are repossessed (and I'm buying them :azn:).

The Human rights act was a British invention its just the EU made it harder for us to kick out hate preachers. Any deal one will be scrutinised by the people and if we dont like it they will lose the GE. They know they cant allow freedom of movement anymore, but a point based system is the only way forward.

No comeback then? His view seems to be undermining the knots you were tying yourself up in last night. Oh wait a minute, no he desn't mean that. It's all a soundbite <laugh>

Have you been up all night posting by the way?

I reckon we should have another referendum to vote London out of our Country.

I live in Plumstead (SE London) and when the BNP had their national HQ up the road in welling we had 3 racist murders including Stephen Lawrence in a 3 mile radius. Racist attacks went up by around 300% .. tbh it was horrible round here for a while.
It weren't white people that was the problem but the racists.
I was a young guy then without kids. I just don't want to have to go back to all the campaigning that was needed back then to get things back to normal. I don't want my girls to feel like I did when I was a kid in the 1970s when the NF used to make life scary and difficult.
Not trying get to derail the thread just explaining my fear

So no comeback then? I thought people like Custard who believed in reducing numbers of immigration didn't exist? Did you grow up with him also? <laugh>

If you thought they didn't exist you're an idiot. I mentioned a few of them pages back.

PS, the "comeback" is in the box you quoted. Some people call them "replies". Happy to help. <ok>

Well why were you arguing against it last night then? <doh>

So care to answer the question how they'll feel in a couple of years when they see their country hasn't changed in terms of numbers coming in, as is being admitted by Brexit campaigners? Or will you start backtracking again?

I don't think that would happen, we have mixed race living in the North East and I have loads of friends Polish, mixed race and white. Not all white people voted out you know just that the far right have jumped on this out vote because they are bigots and idiots and yes I did vote leave but not because of immigration or Britain First.

I did say in a previous post that not everyone voting out was a racist and that my fear was based about the minority that are racist believe they can now spread their poisonous hate.
Was not trying to accuse all out voters of anything

You keep telling me what I think, and then set a question against that wrong assumption and ignore my explanations of my view.

I can't answer for these people you talk of, I don't know them. You seem to, so you're probably best asking them.
