Good read: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story/_/id/938890/championship-2011-12:-club-by-club?cc=3436
Yeah i like that one best! Us 5th, Leeds 11th. I'd take that if you offered me it I still don't quite understand how everyone thinks Forest will do so well, i'm not saying they won't but i can't see them finishing 3rd!
Paul McKenna - The midfield general? Will he even make the starting line up? If this is the sort of information they are using, then can't be that clued up.
Agreed about Mckenna, apart from that the most accurate assessment of where we might finish I've seen so far.
Think he's lost it recently, the Boat and Greening won't make it through the season if thats his midfield.
Agree about Boateng but Greening is a quality signing! Think what Forest fans are saying about McKenna and Adebola!
It's not that i don't rate McClaren, what he achieved at Twente can't be ignored but i really can't see them finishing 3rd! I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the play-offs, McClaren isn't as bad as everyone remembers. Every England Manager's crap at the end of the day, he was just the worst in recent memory (and let's be honest, they're all good managers, just none of them achieved the massive expectation we fans put on them)
I like the predicted finish and would take that with open arms, though don't fully agree with the write up; Paul Mckenna -key man -Midfield general, really?
Am still not sure about Forest ? and Cardiff wont be there this time around. Blackpool in place of Cardiff. If all those new signing dont gell then Leicester will be a train wreck. After West Ham, 2nd spot is up for grabs IMO.
Anyone who doesn't think that Paul McKenna will play a lot of games or that he's not a key player for us is seriously underestimating him.
Much better analysis than the Telegraph whose journalist just seemed to order the clubs according to how big their name is.. lazy. So far we've had 12th, 14th and 5th then.. My own prediction is Top 10.
Boro - good England - bad Twente - good Wolfsburg - bad so he's due a "good", he tends to do better with outsiders, Forest are a big name though.. will be interesting, I think he's a good manager at this level and they'll be up there. I don't understand why he's signed Boateng however.
gonna be such a tight league this year, west ham and Leicester are the favorites but ya never know in this league
