That's maybe where votes were lost. All the Tarquin types are at Glastonbury glamping with their superior opinions looking down their noses at council house types who all hate Muslims, especially European ones. Sorry forgot where I was.
Saw em at Tower before that in 82(?) and elsewhere. Slowly over the years .....they lost it. When ? Sometime in the early noughties I reckon. For some it was when Curtis topped hissen, for others they've still got it. Sad to see the ex bassist acting like a buffoon.
New Order's recent stuff is fantastic. Adele's a good singer, but no chance am I listening to her over New Order. Also, how could New Order have last been good when Ian died? New Order didn't exist yet. The headliners are a bit of a disappointment IMO.
The group of musicians Curtis, Hook Sumner, Morris (later with Mrs Morris), managed by Gretton, produced by Hannett. New Division, Joy Order etc
That group were only ever known as Joy Division and Warsaw. Anyways, this is an incredibly stupid argument, I'm not continuing. Just enjoy the music.
Was chatting to Andrew Savage(of Parquet Courts fame) at The Wardrobe in Leeds last friday. Said he was feeling good about the evening. Storming set, somewhat ruined by the 20 stone crowd surfer. Women buckling under the weight of the oversized baggy jeans that the kids like to impress with. From Glastonbury last year to the northern music hub this. On the up and well deserved. Jack Black on bass. New Order. Blah!
I saw then at both the Tower and and a year or so later at the City Hall. I took loads of photos at both events but weirdly both sets got lost at the developers. Jinxed that lot.
Bush Sr., for the record. Plus a thousand points of light. Watch his lips ... "No new taxis"; hence Uber and Lyft.
Oh, PLEASE continue! How will the rest of us be able to cope? Don't you realise how important you kiddies are to this forum, with all your in-depth knowledge of everything irrelevant to the grown-ups on here?
