The Manager of Manchester City,Roberto Mancini, has today stated that Craig Bellamy "can play at Celtic, because they are an important team". Which presumably implies that he doesn't consider Cardiff City to be "an important team". Anyone agree/disagree with his point of view?
Using the same "logic" it also implies he doesn't think Man City are an important team. Plus he didn't mention Swansea - does that imply the same?? bit of a nothing statement...on all counts View attachment 6082
He didn't sat that at all wretch, don't put words in peoples mouths. And do not read things that aren't there. Or did someone read it for you? He said bellamy deserves to be playing and Celtic are a good team. He din't say anything about important or that other teams aren't, and bellamy can't be made to go if he doesn't want to. go away.
Actually, snaggle,I am not putting words in anyone's mouth.I read it,(so your juvenile comment was wasted),and thought it worth posting. If I had intended a WUM,rest assured, I could made a far better effort than that. So,no WUM,but if you like,I'll work on one.It shouldnt be too difficult to get you lot hopping about like a bunch of kangaroos. Hi Blue, thanks for welcome.Africa is a now place to avoid, and I'm saying that after nearly 20 years of involvement there.
celtic an important team? their first 11 is packed full of championship level players, like hooper, stokes, cha du ri, mulgrew etc. quality wise, they're probably about the same level as us
If true it sounds like a poor choice of words on the part of Mancini, not a criticism but he's learning English and can't be expected to get the right words each time. Having said that, it's his opinion and nothing more. What influence that has on Bellers decision whether to join Celtic is up to Bellers and I think he'll ignore it, don't you?
"Bellamy, who has a year to run on his City contract, has made it clear he has no interest in rejoining the Scottish Premier League giants." Not that important then!! (granted this is SSN and no actual quotes) http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_7076114,00.html
Unfortunately no one asked Bellamy if he wanted to go to Celtic. Let us put the record straight. Man City had a contract to pay Bellamy £96,000 a week and cannot force him to play anywhere else. Last season they were lucky he wanted to come to Cardiff and we helped Man City by paying £20,000 a week. Now they are in a worse position as he is a free agent at the end of this season so if they do not include him in the 25 man squad they will have to pay him all season for nothing. Man City will be a laughing stock if they do that because there will be no point. The best solution is to pay up his contract which they signed and give him a free. Then we will see which club Bellamy chooses.
I only reproduced what I saw on BBC Wales Sport,it's still there,by the way. As I have no opinion, either way,I thought you lot might have a point of view. Time will tell, either way.
if bellamy wanted he could quit man city as they dont care what he does, he could quit and join cardiff if he really wanted to, ....i dont think bellamy cares who he plays for as long as he dont lose his £85k/week....it in his own hands at the end of the day....
dulldai have you ever thought of going into politics i believe you would be perfect for the green party, you seem very keen on recycling s**t
It was an ok article untill you protested it wasn't a wum! Point of bothering to post this on the Cardiff board then? Obviously your time away has made you a bit rusty, not even worth debating with jacks anyway. Come back when you actually sign someone of his quality, because this just sounds like you're getting in with a bit of wumming before/in case he signs for us again.
Ah,I was wondering where you had gone Joseph.Been hiding in your bunker then. When it comes to cowardice, you cornered the market a LONG,LONG time ago. If you want/need to regurgitate old stories,I have a good memory,so bring it on,if you want. I don't need a delete button to deal with you,as you well know.
