150 was a false representation, it's hovered around 146 for a while now, it jumped with people buying it when people thought Remain was nailed on, the £ would have gained value. As soon as the facts started to come out, the markets started to sell, devaluing the pound... It'll regulate, we don't print more money to solve our problems.
Fixed I've got a lot of being persuaded yet, it's him man. Dirty ****er loves prossies, I know what his thinking is
I don't think anybody will be doing any buying for a while, now. The markets way to risky. My brothers have both text me straightaway, expecting our house prices to crash again. Looking to get back into it 12-18 months (if it's looking that way)
Ironic that the labour vote played into the hands of the Tory party old guard. It was always going to be a choice between two evils lets hope we have made the right one, I'm not so sure as some on here, but at least we can vote these b......s out at the next general election.
So who's looking forward to a western world ruled by Boris and Trump Possibly Farage thrown in as deputy PM if a coalition is needed next election. ****ing scary thought if you ask me.
Lots of ways. Most want what they cant afford ((90%) of them. They think they know everything (after a 2week hol) They think the laws are the same as the uk Mentalists. Now yank customers are good.
I thought it would have been the other way round.. ah well. Av got no experience like, just gut feeling I had. ha
All this is a double edge sword to me fella. I wanted to leave but under the right circumstances. The next 10 years scare the **** out of me. If folk thought Blair was Bush's whipping boy, just wait until Turmp is pulling Johnson's strings. But cozy up to the US Britain will have when we leave, we'll be in their pocket. They're both ****ing idiots.
Boris as PM almost guarantees Labour the next GE result, if they dispatch that maggot Corbyn. I also think the Yanks will see to it that Clinton wipes the floor with Trump, that's just my opinion from speaking to some of the people I know across the pond, everything seems to be getting sensationalised by the media to create news, in their view.
Well, really, Thatcher had the nearest thing to a 'bye' the first time. When the miners drove Heath out of office, I remember a miners leader telling the Labour Party conference "And don't forget who put you there". And they didn't. By 1978, the unions were running riot. In Liverpool, there ware piles of garbage 4 or 5 feet high on the pavements because refuse collectors were on strike for pay which the Council simply couldn't pay. Corpses were being frozen and stored because grave-diggers were on strike - it was the closest I've ever seen to Britain at a standstill. Seriously, if Adolf Hitler or even Mighty Mouse had stood against Callaghan, they'd have won. Nobody (including me) liked Thatcher. She was a career barrister who spoke with the most god-awful plum in her mouth, and had hair that had been permed and laquered to the level of fortified steel. Awful woman - but it was her or Moscow. That was the electorate's choice in 1978. She won that year because she could hardly help it.
