It seems that The SNP have a problem with Democracy.
    They lost on their Referendum.
    They lost on THIS Referendum.

Do they accept the results? Obviously not.

I feel we should do everything possible to facilitate their leaving The UK.
It is likely that, for a couple of years or so, money will be hard won in The UK.
That being the case I question if it is a good idea to continue to subsidise our Northern Cousins with money that could be put to better use.

In a few years time oil prices should have recovered and they should scrape along OK till there's none left.
After that they can rely on what the rest of the UK is ready to rely on, their own efforts.

I voted to stop in to help/save Nissan, but don't know what will happen by pulling out. And on another note will jobs be created ? Newcastle will still have to go to Burton albion as well !

I'm never sure you read any of the answers to your questions but what the hell...

Will it create jobs? It could do. The world is our oyster now, we could develop the automotive industry massively. We are well known for producing some of the world's best engineers and designers. We could offer Nissan the same deal they have now potentially, but we can select developers and a skilled workforce from a wider net than ever before. It is in the entire automotive industry's interest to have a tariff-free access to Europe.

They could very well expand, given the deals we can now do independently with China/Far east for vehicle parts in volume.

We could see more car manufacturers setting up shop here, the point is, there's nothing to benefit from making negative predictions, for any company in the world. No company is that arrogant, that they will turn away now without seeing what we do first.

Maybe, just maybe, we can start taxing Apple, Google, Starbucks and the likes as well... since we'll be shutting down their cosy little loopholes.

The market is already 8% down, and that was after it 'recovered', or is that just lies as well?
The only winners for Brexit are money traders and Vladimir Putin, who must think all his birthdays have come at once. I also wonder what that nationality swapping Nazi Murdoch is getting out of it.
Why? didn't you bother with facts before voting?

Scotland can't force anything Holyrood are ultimately controlled by Westminster and in case it has slipped anybody's mind, Westminster might be about to get a little bit busy.

You had your chance Scotland, when we have our house (The UK) in order, we will look at your little dummy spitting exercise again. If Sturgeon persists to destabilise this process, she should be bummed by a stud bull.

I'm not Scottish and, from a personal perspective Brexit should appeal, but I can see further than the promise of money in my pocket and the nationality of my neighbour.

There was a clamour for a re-run of the 1975 referendum from about 1978, when we realised that the 'Common Market' was not exactly what we'd been misled into. And it's raged ever since, thanks to the gutlessness of Callaghan, Thatcher, Major, Blair and Brown. What austerity measures are you saying Cameron introduced in 1978?
