Trying to kill time whilst the referendum results roll in. I've been thinking who out of our current players are near enough nailed on starters next year. I'm fairly confident Odubajo, Dawson, Robertson, Snodgrass, Livermore, Diame and Hernandez, will all at least start the season, and most probably Davies as well. So imo we need a goalkeeper, holding midfielder and left mid. Whilst I wouldn't say no to a younger center back.
New
Odubajo Dawson Davies/New Robertson
Livermore New
Snodgrass Diame New
Hernandez
So 3/4 major signings, as well as a few more for squad depth and I think we'll be golden
Although if Steve Bruce is in charge we'll probably see McGrgeor and Huddlestone lining up against Leicester.
Scott Sinclair is available for 2M.
Robertson isn't the better player though is he, he's good going forward but when you break it down Brady is better defensively has far better technique and is also no slouch attack wise himself.Liverpool transfer target Andrew Robertson priced at £12m by promoted Hull.
Also says we want Brady back, who Norwich value at £12m.

Feel we could get more for Robertson, especially with the fees being quoted this window. Also Robertson is the better player and with much more potential for me, so I wouldn't be happy with a straight swap.
I'm going on what I've seen with us, they've had him for a season so he's been establishing himself there for that season. To be honest not to concerned with what Norwich fans might or might not think, Baggies fans have been talking a lot of **** about Chester if you want to go down that pathNorwich fans say he's a much better lb, as he has space to run into. They didn't rate him on the wing. Bit like us with Elmo
I've seen Elmo in that Costas many times, he often sits in the window so you can't miss himI can't understand why you get so many City players in a bloody Costas on a shopping park in Anlaby...but you do.
Elmo defensively is actually fairly similar to Robertson for me, but hopefully the coaching staff will address this pre-season as if us armchair analysts can see it then they should be able to too! What rather unusual logic.
Correct, he has played there. Doesn't mean he's any good in that position.
Guess what - McShane played right back for us a few times - would you say he was good enough to play there?
An easy direct latest comparison, Robertson and Brady v Sheff Weds spooned the same sort of chance over the bar that Brady converted v Italy in the Euro championships, defensively he is nowhere near as good as Brady as anybody going to matches for the last two seasons has to admit unless they have their heads in the sand. The only areas Robertson is probably ahead of Brady is work-rate and maybe pace (not totally convinced on that) but the quality is a long way behind, also Brady has several tricks up his locker so is ahead on the flair count too
I set up a thread for Brady v Robbo if you want to post on there, probably derailing the transfer thread this a bit. If you are being serious I honestly don't know how you would measure a players concentration as opposed to another, I suppose Elmo ranks highly on the dozy listWhat about long throws, teamwork and concentration?
I have only ever seen Elmo in there. Mcshane and Hunt once when they where with us.I've seen Elmo in that Costas many times, he often sits in the window so you can't miss him
For goodness sake, can we not set our sights a little higher than Rickie Lambert and Hal Robson Kanu? Christ.
for those who dont rate Robson-Kanu. Sadly this is not fantasy football that some on here think it is.Why ? Both would be good value especially Lambert who is well within our budget, PL proven and good at holding up the ball.

But yes i do expect at least one top of the range (for Hull City that is) striker to arrive. But who..............................twt.
