Thanks. Now, we have 2 of them but only 1 very tired centre forward. Now, about Shane Long...

Not good enough. As far as I'm concerned, until he's pictured wearing a replica kit with his name on the back, he's a Chelsea player.

I hadn’t liked paying 20 million for Wanyama, but I think he’s a great buy at the rumored price. I’m not sure I wouldn’t still want him at 20 million, now that I’ve hatched the hare-brained idea in my head that he’ll take over at DM, and Dier will learn Dembélé’s role,. Dier seems determined to work his way around the park. He may be filling in for Kane soon. It would take time for just about anyone else to learn Pochettino’s system. Wanyama is one of the very few who could step in and be fully effective immediately. It’s very encouraging that that’s a priority. Now about that striker...

Reports in Holland say that AZ are haggling for Janssen: the initial bid we made was €10m up front with €2.5m in bonuses, our second bid was €12.5m with €2.5m in bonuses, and last night we made a €14m bid.

It's almost like AZ are aware that a bunch of Little Englanders with no common sense have ****ed up the exchange rate between the Pound and the Euro overnight...

Signing a striker has got to be our no 1 priority, what if Kane is injured for a few weeks?!

I think Jonathan Calleri has suddenly become the front runner, as the Brazilian Real is about the only currency the Pound hasn't seen the exchange rate nosedive in the last 24 hours...

PSG have now joined the race to sign Janssen so we've got less chance of signing him!

But perhaps more chance of getting whatever young forward prospects are on their books, who
will otherwise rot away like at Chelsky.

    Embolo joins Schalke.

Meanwhile, a story that originated in the Italian media has been popping up here and there since Friday morning (and I'll give you three guesses why...) that purports to be Eriksen's agent saying the following:
“We are underestimating the danger,” agent Martin Schoots told La Repubblica.
“The truth is that half the Premier League players will see their work permits turned into scrap paper.
“In a situation like this, I’d take my client away from Tottenham.”

There's just one tiny detail that gets omitted from these reports though...
