Despite what was said during the Campaign, both in The UK and on The Continent, there still remains a few options that MIGHT be applied. MP's, the majority of whom wanted a STAY vote, COULD refuse to vote to leave. Unlikely, but possible. The EU realising that there will be a huge cost to their budgets when Britain takes it's contributions away COULD, A. - Renegotiate Terms, giving us the sort of Deal that Mr Cameron was asking for. This in itself would give MP's a good excuse to ignore this result, OR we could have another vote. B, - Give us a deal similar to that enjoyed by Norway. We would have to 'pay an annual charge' so that our contributions to central budget wouldn't be missed quite so much. This would give us what we voted for INITIALY. A TRADE PACT rather than the Political Union it's turned into. (THIS WOUL BE MY PREFERED OPTION) Failing these options Parliament could pass a short Act making all import taxes reciprocal. In other word we would charge each country the import duties on their goods that they charge us on our goods, going the other way. This will make it a good idea to get Trade agreements in place quickly, whatever The President of The USA might have said. --------- No doubt we will hear lots of other options over the coming days
