This is absolute disaster which I think even Boris and Gove et al didn't expect. I don't care a single second about Cameron and his future. But the pound and the stock market will go through the floor . There is now panic across the world and this is no exaggeration to say that the EU is in serious danger. Suddenly the world is a more unstable and dangerous place. And I have to say this. I blame Corbyn as he was worse than useless. The labour vote almost totally went to the Leave side whilst Corbyn sat watching. His election as leader of the Labour Party was one of the worst events in our politics when history is written.
Obviously years of uncertainty ahead, but players like Emre Can will be illegible to play for us once we are out of the EU. On the other hand so will Moreno.
And there goes Sinn Fein already...looking an all Ireland Referendum.....seriously guys not another one... But called this move....
People have voted for Farage, Gove, and Johnson to represent them. Short term: everyone in the UK is 10% poorer than yesterday. Long term: the UK is broken - Scotland and Northern Ireland will not join Greater England in its economic and cultural suicide.
The irony of Leave voters covering themselves in the UK flag when they have just killed off that union
Farage has already admitted they lied about the money the UK would save Well done Leavers for believing him
Well depending on voting...if you live in Scotland and Northern Ireland...back into the EU.... Farage is such a ****...enjoy your ten minutes of glory you ****er....
Well before I claim that I'd like to see participation numbers...because if as I guess the young didn't bother their arse voting then **** them they got what they deserved....
Nicola Sturgeon has good reasons for wanting Britain to stay in the EU Lesley Riddoch https://www.theguardian.com/comment...n-britain-eu-referendum-scottish-independence
And looking at the figures....before the likes of us, Scotland and those English areas that voted remain pat ourselves on the back. In all these areas turnout was much lower than Brexit areas. Those that didn't bother coming out were either lazy bastards or too thick to understand the vote numbers mattered.....
I think a lot of people changed their minds after the shooting in Germany. Maybe, and maybe I am wrong.
Irrespective... the queues for foreign currency the day before should have woken up some remain voters. They all **** off on hols now spending their 1.5 to the euro pounds while the rest of us see our pensions slashed, jobs go and immediate referendums on breaking up the union. I would predict Scotland and NI have to leave the union and stay eu.. Wales can **** itself cos it voted leave NI irrespective of sinner call for United twaddle must decide urgently if it wants to become it's own state... which by the look of its politics it can't decide ever.... So.... watch the stocks today... enjoy..... when osbourne comes and sticks his hand in all our pockets we will see what the leavers say then...
No.. totally wrong. That was too late in the day. I would expect that the exit poll bullshit starting from early morning will have put off many a remain vote due to rain... I mean... if you were told remain wins and it's pouring out you might get lazy.
Na..we ****ed...not big enough to be a state on our own...Despite all the centenary romanticism which will call for a United Ireland they'll not want us..especially if our unemployment rates go shooting up... Westminster won't match the funding NI got from EU... Austerity will worsen due to at least short term economic downturn so loads of public sector workers let go.. If the doomongering was correct investment will dry up. To keep UK together I think it's time for real devolution...give NI tax raising and tariff powers..if Cameron was right that the border will be at our airports then let NI negotiate it's own deal with the EU.....
