I wonder just how difficult that'll turn out to be?

And as for foreign players coming to our leagues, well...

Why should it be difficult for clubs to play in Europe? You don't have to be in the EU to play in U.EFA tournaments.

Might make it more difficult for second rate players from Europe to come here as the same criteria would presumably apply as they presently do for non .EU players. Which wouldn't be a bad thing for the overall well being of the game.

If the players are good enough and have enough international caps, they'll come. If they're a young talent, we'll get them on a special visa. Switzerland aren't in the EU and Basel were in the Champions League.

    Erm Stanners.

We're still in Europe. No one has changed geographic boundaries. Turkey isn't in the EU for example, and they play football in Europe.

If Switzerland aren't in the EU they are free to let in who they want to play. We put restrictions on players regarding international caps, number of first team appearances etc from non EU countries. We have no choice as regards EU players at the moment. Presumably the same regulations will apply once we leave. Which, as I wrote previously, will be no bad thing as it would stop so many second rate EU players coming here to the detriment of home grown players.

Read what I wrote previously. Why only English players? The most successful export, as far as football goes, from the UK is Welsh. This was Brexit not Enexit.

Turkey are hardly even in Europe, same as Russia. There are some UEFA nations who are entirely outside of Europe such as Israel and Azerbaijan.

Yet they are in the process of joining the EU.

Which is why us leaving the EU doesn't make any difference to British clubs playing in European games.
