What are his other policies? What's his plan for the economy?

But in actual terms of funding for the EU we are one of the three contributors.

QE has been continued and increased this year by the ECB, it is risky economic decision making along with the negative interest rates.

There will be a deal and it will be a mutually beneficial one and I'm sure there will be some level of compromise like in all deals.

And I hadn't meant fiscal policy, by this point at 7 in the morning I'm both sleep deprived and have been consistently drinking since the start of the vote announcements <laugh> my bad!

Well a million more of them overall felt like that vote was worth taking part in, this time around a million less of them felt this was worth there vote. The Scottish people have a bigger affinity with us than with Europe. Economically it makes more sense to stick with us. And as has been pointed out she doesn't currently have the political power to even try for a referendum on independance.

She will push, as I've said, due to the changed circumstances. Currently, she is in a tiny overall minority. However, the SNP is by far the largest single party in The Scottish parliament. She will use that as another part of her justification.

Actually if you go back beyond his popular spell in recent years he had far more to say on various areas of the EU, he has just focused more on immigration topics as they appear to be vote winners, despite me finding it highly annoying that the focus isn't on other topics! If you go back and look over the last 10 years his speeches to the EU Parliament on economic matters were rather insightful in regards to the economic crash and the situation in Greece in particular. He actually had a lot to say on various things but unfortunately as he has become more mainstream and UKIP gained more votes he gave in to what would win votes to achieve his aims. He genuinely hasn't always been a one policy, immigration discussing politician.

Genuinely didn't think it would happen.

A bit shocked, I've got to say. Very 'interesting' to see how this all pans out now.

There are, and have been low to negative rates globally for some time now. This was caused by the global recession that kicked off in 2008.

QE has also been a global necessity. Liquidity dried up, as it will do in the UK.

A central fiscal policy would only come with a federal European state. Something I would never have supported.

Will we be building Farage's wall along the border between the Republic and Northern Ireland to keep those pesky Europeans out. Don't want them all getting in by the back door do we.

You said he wants ALL immigrants out that is wrong on every level.
He wants control of immigration and the people of the UK have agreed

I have never, ever seen one credible, electable policy from Farage. I'd love him to try and explain what they are to me? If he can!...

He's been in Europe a long time and he hasn't always been a known politician, back when UKIP were just a political foot note. If you search for his appearances at the EU parliament going back over the years, as I say particularly when he was more of an unknown, he shows a different side to himself. Some of it can probably be found on YouTube somewhere!

    Happy Independence day.

Scotland are not fit to join the EU alone, and if we've started a trend of countries leaving, they wouldn't want to join it if they've any sense.

It's a kick into reality for the 'experts' that have tried to con us for years. I'm just pleased so many are not gullible. The others need to learn to accept defeat gracefully and help unite this country.

You mean his very occasional appearances? Which he used mostly to insult other members of the European Parliament?.

Some Scots may blether on, but I don't think Scotland will have any appetite once they look at the reality.

Where are they going to go? IF they ever get into a state where they're in a condition to get in into the EU, it won't exist.

That's by the by, let's just enjoy Independence Day. <ok>
