This is going to sound stupid possibly but Klose is apparently considering playing one more year in the MLS. He is available on a free and his salary couldnt be that much at his age.

Gomez is also going for 14 mill, cant imagine he would want to play for us but 14 mill might be around the max we could spend on a striker.

damn i could have had a minor scoop rumour yesterday when i sa him buying coffee at Costa for himself n his agent . . . i was wondering why they were in Anlaby right now during their break
I can't understand why you get so many City players in a bloody Costas on a shopping park in Anlaby...but you do.

The last few games they played, they looked like they'd sorted out whatever problems they had with each other. Elmo has a lot to do to get back on side with the fans after last season. I personally wouldn't have been sorry if he'd gone.

Not so sure about them working it out.

Elmo going was an easy option for me too, but if he plays on song he is a game changer, the manger needs to suit his abilities and that was a million miles away last season.

I wonder if either Elneny or Coquelin would be available on loan from Arsenal. Unlikely, but with Xhaka, Ramsey, Wilshere and Cazorla all able to operate at the base of the 4-2-3-1 formation they play, it's hard to see them getting much game time.

Despite his poor season last year I'm delighted to have him back. It took a while for him and Dave to develop a good understanding but it was clearly coming together toward the end of the season, and at his best he's a great crosser of the ball, strong in the air, and full of running for 90 minutes. His enthusiasm and energy are infectious, and he's always the first to congratulate his team mates after a goal. Welcome back Elmo!!
