The Dark Knight franchise is about as child orientated as Cannibal Holocaust is. D'oh. And it is actually one of the modern greats and is more socially relevant than many films. Back to the OP, I saw Captain America a few days ago. It was pretty decent, part of the new Avengers so there's a couple of new Marvel based comics films such as Thor which I thought was about as good as Captain America. Not fantastic but decent entertainment. It's all leading up to the new Avengers film that includes Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk to name but a few.
So how can you give an opinion on a movie you've never even seen? Your right, movies that earn the most money in film history are usually terrible.
Your first point: they're based on cominc books and Ive seen the trailers. Your second point: Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. All in the top 20 biggest earning movies of all times and all ****ing ****e. So stop wasting my time with your childish bullshit.
To be fair there have been some god awful ones but there have also been some amazing movies that have made the big bucks.
Sword films are the best. (Not aswordmadeofhash productions, but films with sword fights in them) EDIT: Feels really weird pronouncing sword as it's typed, doesn't feel right.
Wasting your time. You have been the one contributing to an article about a film you have not seen and have no intenetion of seeing. Think you've been wasting your own time. As for childish bullshit.
Get to **** you ****e wee wum. There's a difference between tongue-in-cheek threads and grown men wanting to go and watch comic book films. Also, that report was published you thick ******. Away and start a thread about Celtic and bigotry. That seems to be about your 606 level kid.
That's him in his box but it's a pity he will probably respond with a tirade of abuse and bad language. It's a pity you can still see what people on your ignore list post when people quote it.
And here you are, still wasting your own time. I take it you've never seen any of these "childish" movies? 30 Days of Night, 300, Alien vs. Predator, Batman, Blade, The Crow, From Hell, A History of Violence, iron Man, Kick-Ass, Men in Black, Red, Road to Perdition, Sin City, Spider-man, Swamp Thing, Tales from the Crypt, V for Vendetta, Wanted, Weird Science, Watchmen or the X-men series.
I would distinguish between movies based on children's comics, and those based on Alan Moore-style graphic novels which are clearly aimed at adults.
I don't read comics but I've heard that a lot of them are directed more towards older people these days than kids.
Medro is very good at altering the view of his argument when he gets caught out. I've never mentioned adult-based graphic novels. All I've talked about on this thread is movies based on kid's comics.
