That misses out far too much of the funding that comes to areas via other streams. To claim those who wasted the most, cut back the most is simply wrong.

It's in the bag for Remain, Betfair got Remain as hot favourite.

Betfair have had Remain as favourite for weeks unlike the polls.

    Remain 1.16, Leave 6.8.

Out of interest how would a betting company have the information to give these odds when all the polls say neck & neck?

With those odds it is tempting to stick a bundle on leave.

The odds are largely determined by the betting itself, though there are exit polls going on, at the moment they're showing 51% Remain/49% Leave.

I was just thinking precisely the same. There's no way they can have the the kind of information that allows them to reasonably make the assumption that these odds suggest. People keep changing their minds and so many were undecided yesterday or even this morning so it is a baffling situation.

Defo worth a punt and if you're a remain supporter it sweetens the blow somewhat.

edit - just checked and Sky Bet have it as 5/1 as well.

Not sure that's the reason as idiots are free to post there idiocy on any other topic.

Personally I like to hear different opinions, even those of idiots. Even an idiot is entitled to a voice.

There will be a late surge for Leave tonight when we all get home from work and complacency sets in with the remaining remainers.

You think most of the Leavers have jobs?

Speaking of jobs, it stuns me that people in Hull could even consider voting Leave. The best jobs opportunity for a generation is around the corner courtesy of a large German company warning about how Brexit could impact on that. are people ****ing mental? I mean, it doesnt impact on me but if I lived in Hull and had my own career aspirations or those of my children at heart thinking of where they might work in the city then I'd be voting Remain every time.

But why don't we build our own turbines? Why do we have to go cap in hand to these European companies?

It's not looking good for Leave to be honest. Latest poll was had a sample of 4,700 people (one of the biggest) and Remain had a 10 point lead.

My office of over 20 people are approx 80% leave.

Partnerships with EU companies and EU companies like Siemens will continue under a new Trade Agreement, P&O ferries will still run to Rotterdam, why wouldn't they?

Leavers with jobs are tax payers and more likely to be concerned with their hard earned taxes poring in to our superfluous net contribution to the EU.

Hull's fishing industry is still within living memory.

Our news has said that many of our companies have their main EU office and other operations in the UK and that leave would mean that they would have to build a new 2nd office as well as other facilities in Europe if you all left since they would still need their UK office and facilities as well as the new ones since they couldnt use the ones in the UK for their EU operations. They are saying that it would obviously decrease their profit margin as well as make expanding their UK footprint less desirable and may withdraw jobs and put them in their to be constructed EU operation. I would guess that its possibly a similar train of thought to what Siemens is thinking.

Yeah you're right. Lets tell Siemens to **** off and take their thousands of jobs with them.
