So for anyone who went to Chesterfield (as I didnt), if her is signed, is Pusic going to have any more impact than Belaid did?

I think his game is much better suited to English football than Belaid's was, he's more aggressive and I think he'd be a good addition.

Looked a good player. I wouldn't say he was any better than what we have already though. I much prefer Brady and Stewart. If we needed to round out our squad, I think he'd be good as cover/competition but until we lose Oily, Bullard and Kilbane, we probably don't need to.

Mind you, if he's dirt cheap...!

Looks like he may have an eye for goal. Matty aside, we could do to bring in someone who can finish.

I don't think Fryatts that good a finisher. I've seen him miss a fair few one on ones, I'd put him in the Andy Cole bracket of finishing in that he needs a fair few chances to hit the net.

In that case, we really do need to bring in someone who can finish !?!

Considering he's a big fella, he's been nowhere near any cross into the box during the last 2 matches...worrying for a centre forward/striker. I like his hold-up/lay-off work, I just feel we need a goal poacher - although I can offer no suggestions, but that's not my job.

Have a look at what Deano says about him:

Exactly the kind of player I thought he'd be, not a finisher. And if, as stated above, some don't rate Matty's finishing, who's going to put away the chances Dele creates ? I can't see it being Cow's Arse n Banjo Maclean, and if it's going to be Simpson, Nigel will have to drop Fryatt... tough decisions to make.

The thought of Fryatt being dropped makes me shiver as much as the thought of McLean & Adebola up front together

Cannot agree more. Very solid and has a great left foot. Talking with him after the game he was quite chilled and relaxed. When asked he said "we shall see" with that grin and smile. Did not NP say the same with Burnsie after the game ? He offers something different and coming off the bench as an impact sub after Brady tires.
Dont think that he would cost the earth either.

As for Ghilas ? he just looks out of it. Maybe there are grounds for KG sacking as well due to a lack of effort. At the very least KG should have had some warnings for his poor efforts @ Winterton and the home game with Bradford.

How much have we paid Ghilas since he signed, absolute disgrace, think I'm one of the few on here that don't harbour warm feelings for Brown when I think about the appaling signings hes lumbered us with, him and Duffman.

Pearson is quoted in todays Fail saying Pusic has done well and has another week on his trial.
