I am very impressed. Well done to all.

I.am only slightly sorry for the Scots as they seem to be missing the party. Probably are well cheesed off.

It is very interesting how the last 16 knock-out draw is split into two group which may be summmarised as the historical "heavyweights" and the "lightweights".

In the "heavyweight" or "group of death" section we have: France, Germany, Spain, England and Italy
In the "lightweight" or "lucky" section we have: Belgium, Croatia, Portugal, Wales, Poland and Switzerland.

I am looking forward to seeing how these two halves of the draw will develop and who will reach the final. Also how the route to the final will affect the finalists with respect to physical condidition, injuries and cards. It should be fun!

Great chance for Wales to get a long qay.
Croatia look likely finalists from that side imo.

In the top half of the draw I believe that Croatia are the team in form, but Belgium have the stars. But it is all to play for and Wales have a great chance of progressing quite far. I will rooting for Poland but we need Lewandowski to wake up and shoot on goal. All is possible and there is a high probablity of a "black horse" in the final.

In the bottom half there will be some very big names facing each other, almost a potential final in each match.

I hope that it delivers the excitement to the expectations!

What a night, best moment of the Euro's so far, I was extatic when that goal went in. Ireland, my team, finally delivered through sheer will and passion.
Please God let them have their revenge on the cheating French!!!!

Nice to see people picking up on Buffon after the match, he seemed genuinly chuffed for Ireland, great sportsman.

Going to Italy for two weeks next week, should make for a great atmosphere if they can get through Spain.

Second best. Best will always be Ronaldo missing the penalty (even if England win, this will still give me greater happiness, I think!)

    "But Belguim have the stars".

For me Croatia have the three best players that will be on the pitch. Belguim are full of "Premier stars", Croatia have a midfield trio that plays for Real, Barcelona & Inter (ex dortmund). I know who I would prefer to paly for my team!
