Don't know whether to bother going to see this. I have heard some mixed reviews on it. A few of my American plas have seen it and said it was top notch yet a few other friends from over here have said it was gash. Anyone checked this out yet?

Why would any adult go and see a movie based on a child's comic?

Unless they were taking their kids to see it.

When I was a kid yeah. But I've no intention of watching any of them as an adult.

So because you don't want to watch them now, they must be labelled as kids movies.<doh>

Sure. Next you'll be telling me the comics are for adults too.

    I like movies.
    I'm an adult*
    It's pure escapism.

I watched `Rango' at the weekend, it was laugh-out-loud at some bits.

Some people like to pretend they are all grown up by saying they would never see movies like this but they lie. I have seen many so called 'kids' movies and animated movies over the last 10 years and loved them as they are far better than the constant stream of tripe like The Hangover. As one wise man said they are about escaping from the grind of daily life for 90 minutes or so.

By the way I wouldn't say the most recent Batman movies are for kids.

Bullshit. You grow out of these things when you become an adult. There are a lot of ways to escape the grind and that includes watching movies suitable for grown ups.

The idea of going to the cinema to watch some overpumped weirdo in lycra beat up equally weird looking baddies is about as appealing as a bowl of alphabetti spaghetti (another thing you grow out of in adulthood.)

That is a great theory 'superhero movies are only for kids' yet some of them have been the biggest earning movies in history.
have you honestly not seen any of the Batman of the Spider-man films?

NO. Why is that so difficult for you to comprehend? I don't want to watch some kids comic book brought to life and I would feel intellectually slighted if someone forced me to do so.

They are ****e. The fact that they earn so much money says nothing for the quality of the films but says everything about the sort of braindead sheep who watch this pile of rotten ****ing horse dung.
