I'm not sure that people who choose not to live in the UK have a clear view of what the British people feel about the EU therefore their opinions are invalid and or biased!

Okay i have finally decided which way...
    I will vote to Leave.
I was always an in voter but after recent comments by a french minister saying if we leave we will be as insignificant as Guernsey. How dare he say that about us!
Secondly, EU president Jean-Claude Junker has said 'out is out' with no renegotiation. That tells me he is not open minded/forward thinking and able to change.

Fair enough Ellers - respect your choice. But I wouldn't be swayed by what politicians say (both here and abroad - the Frenchman has his own electorate to pander too). Has the sparkling arguments/banter on here not swayed you one way or the other?

Agree mate politicians can be 2 faced twunts. Both sides have talked loads of crap.
I love Europe. I have both French and Irish family and spent 3 months of last year in France. Nothing against the people just the money men who run the EU who are only interested in big corporate companies and not the little guy.
I will also say that if we do brexit other countries will follow. Saying all this i think remain will win.

It is true that we sometimes see things from a different perspective - a little bit like being able to see the whole forest as opposed to only the next tree. We are affected by everything which Britain does - either the British will accept free movement from the EU. in exchange for tariff free access to the European market or they will bring in controls. If they do the latter then it will develop into a tit for tat thing which will have serious consequences for British people living in the EU. so we have a very good right to express an opinion on it.

Agree as far as it goes but you're/our opinions are not based on what the people of the UK are feeling. I for one have not lived in the country for 30 years so have not experienced the problems that many Brits have with the EU so my opinions are based on a history which I'm sure are tainted with only memories of the good times.

I've been here for 27 years Durbar, and, disregarding my hopes for tomorrow, I agree that there is a certain amount of nostalgia in looking back. To a certain extent Britain will always be the Britain of my youth but I guess that's normal.

Really? Bollocks, that means hours of tedious talking heads before we know anything. I may give it a miss and get up early on Friday.

I see tropical rainstorms are forecast from the opening of the polling stations to their closing Col.

Looks like you've used 10 years worth of QPR wishes to get that mate!

Freedom of movement is different from the freedom to work. I do not wish to part of a Federal Europe.

Good luck Everyone, whatever your views.

Try living over here in the summer time.
I now wish it was winter ( our winter ) 12 months of the year.

By the way, I've just voted out.
I want only the best for the motherland and having other countries feed of it is draining the system and finances in general.

    Anyway, all the best.
