Try reading other people's texts once in a while - Germany is not the EU. Also the EU. in it's negotiations is not going to bend over backwards to help Britain, which could encourage others to leave. If you are thinking of restricting European immigration then you cannot pick and choose based on nationality, so, that means you will also be restricting German immigration - if you allow everyone in but do not allow them to work, officially, then the illegal work market will grow. Which means that you are talking about a Visa system - remember that London has 17 million visitors every year (who bring in about 12 billion pounds) 67% of them from Europe - so do not play with fire - when hotels and boarding houses are standing empty will you compensate them ?

You have been advised previously that nobody is advocating limiting tourism.

Just read the latest opinion poll tonight from the Daily Express website, It suggests leave are 7 points ahead once people's likelihood to vote is taken into account.

It is enough to give Cameron a sleepless night.

People go on holidays to places where they feel welcome SH. If it is a choice between going to Britain, with possible visa requirements. and also going to a place where they do not feel welcome, then they will go elsewhere - simple as that. I am not interested in your Express polls, dragged up from God knows where, which, last time you introduced one, turned out to be mathematically impossible.

I was in the West End last week, full of visitors from the Far East, that will not change, especially if sterling is not strong.

The same poll by TNS is also covered by the Independent, it reports leave ahead by 2 points, another one had leave ahead by 1 point. Two more polls expected to be announced soon.

I still expect a late swing to the status quo but leave have had a very effective campaign so all to play for.

The polls are setting themselves up for another fall. How many people did they consult in Gibralter, the Falklands or France? It is reckoned that 60% of ex-pats have registered and have voted. Due to the leave side being so vague about their future, you can guess that almost 100% have voted to keep things as they are.

There will probably be a late swing to the status quo - which generally happens at elections anyway, the so called incumbency factor. This also happened in the Scottish referendum once the flag waving was over. Also, most polls do not cover Northern Ireland - and also the ex pat vote could be a decisive factor (not all are disqualified).

Can you provide evidence of your facts - otherwise I would view this as just another person who lives abroad who contributes nothing to this country advising me what to think and do.
Interesting news today from the NHS -Virgin Care has been awarded the contract to manage the hospitals in Kent. I wonder how Conrade Corbyn feels about rubbing shoulders with Branson on the Remain campaign?

My wife has promised to push her ailing father, in his wheelchair, to the polling station tomorrow. Unfortunately we have been unable to convince him that his intention to vote remain is a bad idea.

I might suggest to just take him around the block and convince him he voted earlier but just forgot about it.

Are you that poorly travelled that you don't understand the difference between a tourist and someone who wishes to live and work in a country? Let me try and help, for the vast majority of visitors that want to stay as tourists or wish to visit relatives in this country, they simply fill in a simple form on the plane, queue up at passport control and if your passport is OK and you do not appear dodgy you will get a stamp and be allowed to stay for a couple of months. But if you wish to live in this country and work here, you will need to app,y for a visa before you travel - otherwise you cannot legally work here. It's how it works here today for non- EU citizens and its how it works in the USA, Australia, NZ and other EU countries. It's quite simple really.

Daughter flies back home tomorrow from a few weeks away in Costa Rica - just in time to vote the correct way. I am picking her up and driving straight to the polling station in our village.

I will vote Remain later today. Many, many reasons why. That puts me in the same boat as Mr Cameron and Mr Osbourne, the latter I would particularly dislike to brush shoulders with.

Very alarming re this 'Virgin Care' story, wy - not so thin end of the wedge, I fear.

Do I appear to be poorly travelled ? Most EU. citizens do not have passports because, under EU. rules they only need an ID. card to enter another EU. country - you cannot fix a visa to an ID. card in the same way.
W_Y it is a normal working day for me here and I do not have time to search out statistics here and then import them because I do not have the luxury of being able to sit in front of my PC. all day. Particularly as these facts are as obvious as to say 'the sun without clouds equals a nice day'. Do you imagine that the 2 million Britons living in Europe have no right to express an opinion ? - they are affected by everything which Britain does. In my case I may even have to drop my British nationality in the event of a Brexit vote - so get down off your high horse here. Also can you finally leave the 'Comrade Corbyn' crap - it is getting tiresome, although it is about on the same level as most of the Brexit 'argument' (if you can call it that) - have you ever seen me refer to any political opponent by anything other than their name ?

Took me a second to find the link, but very worrying news this is. The tie-in in terms of Brexit (linking to this thread) is that this is what Gove has always wanted - the privatisation of the NHS, education is next. Academies will be easier to privatise. It does upset me immensely, where is the mandate to privatise that which we hold so dear?

A German newspaper has said that they will recognize Geoff Hurst's goal in 66, and will play without a goalkeeper next time they have a penalty shoot out against us if we vote remain.

Just imagine, Britain after Brexit is so desparate for international partners that they sign a free trade deal with China - inclusive of free movement of labour ! Do you want free access to the Munich beer festival or the Yulin dogmeat festival ? :1980_boogie_down:

It is sensible to use services from the private sector in the NHS when and where applicable. Socialist France has operated a similar system for many years without the hysteria seen in the UK.

There is still a tremendous amount of inefficiencies in the NHS, intertwined private sectors will lead the way due to inbuilt financial accountability.

Who said the krauts don't have a sense of humour?

If we vote leave we will let them put towels on all the sun beds in Majorca for a month.
