    I'm voting IN.

HIAG has given this thread a wide berth because I think the issues probably go way over his head.

He goes round in circles with everything else on here, so I don't see why the EU debate should be any different to be honest :)

    Tetlock REALLY GETS IT. <applause>

A Tetlock 'template' would have been so easy to devise for these so-called "credible" economics bods.

However, they are too cowardly to be subjected to the ridicule platform that the likes of the UK
polling organisations were after the 2015 general election. And they never incur any personal
financial loss (career earnings etc) as a result of their incorrect predictions.

The killer question has been put a couple of times already on here, but is worth repeating.

If we weren't in the EU today, would you vote to join it tomorrow?

    Thought not.

    Vote OUT!

... not me ... I traded mine in for a pagoda ... more practical...

... I think people should be more concerned about David Cameron's extraordinarily shiny head ... I am now worried that we may have unwittingly opened our borders to aliens whilst counting up economic migrants ... :)

If he says yes he's a liar.

I know this for fact. All the signs are there. Trust me.

    No he's not!

It would obviously depend on what terms were being offered at this present time. Under our current arrangement, yes I would join. It gives the UK unfettered access to a £17 trillion market. We are not part of the single currency, and we have no Intention to be involved in the now fading possibility of a federal Europe.

So, under our existing arrangement, Yes I would join. We get far more total from the EU than we pay in..

And, trust me? What like I'm supposed to trust tosser Gove, Fascist Farage, and Barmy Boris? Not to mention the BNP, EDL, and all other ultra right wing nutters? I don't think so!...

We still can have access, we spend billions of pounds across Europe. We buy thousands of BMW's from Germany worth billions to Germany do you think they want to lose that money what Britain spend on their cars. It would be like cutting their nose off to spite their face.

Obviously not. But any actual trade arrangements would still be open to negotiation between the UK and the EU. It may well not come down to what BMW want...

So if don't buy BMWs what do we buy. Audi, Mercedes, etc? We do not have a viable mass production car industry that is UK owned and the factories that are here do not produce nearly enough to satisfy UK demand. We could all drive Tata cars I suppose made by those well known supporters of British Steel

Like I said it will never happen, companies will still trade just not under EU regulations.
